Hun Sen's intention to allow China to establish military bases in Cambodia is a move that endangers not only Cambodia but also the broader Southeast Asian region. The international reactions, China must not use these Cambodian bases for invading neighboring countries. By inviting such a presence, Hun Sen is not only jeopardizing the safety of Cambodia but also increasing the risk of conflict in the region.
