- ឈ្មួញទុច្ចរិត ជិតស្និតជាមួយគណបក្សប្រជាជនកម្ពុជា ច្របាច់ក កសិករ ទាំងពេលទិញផលដំណាំពីកសិករ ទាំងពេលលក់ឥវ៉ាន់ផ្សេងៗឲ្យកសិករវិញ ដោយគេប្រើប្រាស់សិទ្ធិផ្តាច់មុខរបស់គេ ដែលបានមកពីអំពើពុករលួយ ហើយអនុញ្ញាត ឲ្យគេកំណត់ថ្លៃតាមតែចិត្ត។

- ភាពវេទនារបស់កសិករ ដែលជំពាក់បំណុលគេវ័ណ្ឌក ជាមូលហេតុជម្រុញឲ្យពួកគេសម្រេចចិត្តចាកចេញពីប្រទេសកម្ពុជាទៅស៊ីឈ្នួលនៅប្រទេសថៃ ដោយសារតែគ្មានដំណោះស្រាយ។

- Shady businessmen associated with the CPP economically strangle farmers when they buy agricultural products from farmers and also when they sell agricultural inputs to farmers. They then exert their commercial monopsonies and monopolies which they have secured through corruption.

- Indebtedness or the vicious circle of poverty is one of reasons why so many desperate farmers left Cambodia for Thailand.
