អំណោយពីសហភាពអឺរ៉ុប ត្រូវយកមកជួយឧបត្ថម្ភកម្មករ ដែលបាត់បង់ការងារ

សហភាពអឺរ៉ុប ទើបតែបានប្រកាសផ្តល់អំណោយ ប្រមាណ ៦៦ លានដុល្លារ ដើម្បីជួយប្រទេសកម្ពុជា ឆ្លងកាត់វិបត្តិសេដ្ឋកិច្ច បណ្តាលមកពីការរាតត្បាតជំងឺកូវីដ-១៩។

ថវិកានេះ អាចយកមកផ្តល់ឲ្យកម្មករ ចំនួនរហូតដល់ទៅ ២ សែននាក់ ម្នាក់ ៥០ ដុល្លារ ក្នុងរយៈពេល ៦ ខែ។ រដ្ឋអំណាចប្រទេសកម្ពុជា បានសម្រេចផ្តល់ឲ្យកម្មករ ដែលបាត់បង់ការងារ ម្នាក់ ៧០ ដុល្លារ តែចំនួនទឹកប្រាក់ប៉ុណ្ណឹង មិនអាចធានាជីវភាពរស់នៅរបស់កម្មករ ចំនួន ១ សែននាក់ហើយ ដែលទើបតែបាត់បង់ការងារ។ បើបន្ថែម ៥០ ដុល្លារ ពីសហភាពអឺរ៉ុប ថែមទៀត នោះប្រាក់ឧបត្ថម្ភសម្រាប់កម្មករម្នាក់ៗ នឹងឡើងដល់ ១២០ ដុល្លារ ក្នុង ១ ខែ គឺស្មើទៅនឹងអ្វី ដែលលោក ហ៊ុន សែន បានសន្យាឲ្យកម្មករ ពីដើមទី គឺ ៦០ ភាគរយ នៃប្រាក់ខែដើម ២០០ ដុល្លារ x ៦០% = ១២០ ដុល្លារ ។

អ្នកសង្កេតការណ៍ឯករាជ្យជាច្រើន បានបង្ហាញពីកង្វល់ ទាក់ទងនឹងការគ្រប់គ្រងជំនួយអន្តរជាតិ និងថវិកាទាំងឡាយ ដែលរៃអង្គាសបាន ក្នុងបំណងទប់ស្កាត់ជំងឺកូវីដ-១៩ ថា គ្មានតម្លាភាពទាល់តែសោះ ហើយនឹងនាំមកនូវអំពើពុករលួយ គួរឲ្យសោកស្តាយ សម្រាប់ពលរដ្ឋក្រីក្រ ដែលកំពុងដាច់បាយ។

EU grant of $66 million should be allocated to help laid off workers

The European Union has made a grant of about $66 million to help Cambodia deal with the economic crisis arising from the COVID-19 pandemic.

This budgeted amount can be used to help up to 200,000 workers with monthly payments of $50 for six months.

The Cambodian government has decided to give workers who have lost their jobs $70 each, but this level of payment can’t guarantee the livelihoods of the 100,000 workers who have become unemployed.

If the $50 from the European Union is added, the amount of the payment to each worker would be increased to $120 per month. This would be in line with the promise that Mr. Hun Sen made to guarantee 60% of monthly income of $200 (60% x $200 = $120).

Many analysts in the kingdom have shown concern about the management of international aid and the allocation of funds that have been collected with the aim of blocking the spread of COVID-19. There is a complete lack of transparency and this will lead to corruption, a tragedy for impoverished workers who don’t have enough to eat.

There’s no sign of China making any kind of contribution to help Cambodia at this difficult time, contrary to the assurances of Hun Sen.
