In this second part of the interview, Sam Rainsy answers the question: "Can Hun Sen dissolve the Candlelight Party as he dissolved the CNRP in 2017?"

The answer in "no" because the Cambodian people and the international community will not accept that Hun Sen keeps dissolving any opposition party that starts to seriously challenge his autocratic power. There is also the regional issue of Chinese military bases on Cambodia's soil. Only a democratic regime in Cambodia can ensure the country's independence and neutrality and prevent Cambodia from becoming a military outpost for Beijing.
