លោក សម រង្ស៊ី ហ៊ានទស្សន៍ទាយថា សវនាការខាងមុខនេះ នឹងមិននាំមកនូវអ្វីថ្មីមួយឡើយ ពីព្រោះការកាត់ទោសលោក កឹមសុខា នេះ ទៅមុខក៏មិនរួច ថយក្រោយក៏មិនរួច។

លោក ហ៊ុន សែន ដែលបានចោទប្រកាន់លោក កឹម សុខា យ៉ាងងងើល កំពុងតែជាប់គាំង ពីករណីលោក កឹម សុខា នេះ។ ករណីលោក កឹម សុខា នេះ ទន្ទឹមនឹងការបោះឆ្នោតមិនត្រឹមត្រូវ មិនសេរី និងមិនយុត្តិធម៌ ក្នុងខែកក្កដា ខាងមុខនេះ នឹងធ្វើឲ្យរបប ហ៊ុនសែន បាត់បង់ភាពស្របច្បាប់ទាំងស្រុង។ ក្នុងស្ថានការណ៍បែបនេះ លោក ហ៊ុន សែន ក៏មិនអាចផ្ទេរអំណាចឲ្យកូនគាត់បានឡើយ។

The ongoing treatment of Kem Sokha to the present day risks ruining everything for Hun Sen if he makes another bad move. Kem Sokha's trial for an “attempt to overthrow the government with the support of the United States” has been dragging on for more than five years. This is like a bone stuck in Hun Sen’s throat.

Kem Sokha’s trial can’t move forward, in the absence of any serious evidence. Neither can it be abandoned, because to acquit Kem Sokha by withdrawing the fabricated charges made against him would mean the rehabilitation of the CNRP, which Hun Sen dissolved by precisely using the charges made against its president Kem Sokha as the pretext. A reinstated CNRP would be allowed to participate in the next legislative elections on July 23, 2023. Such a re-awakening of the CNRP is a living nightmare for Hun Sen.

Acquitting Kem Sokha and rehabilitating the CNRP are the two inseparable components to solving Cambodia’s political crisis. These are the only steps which would respect democratic principles and give justice to a man who has become a symbol for Cambodian aspirations for freedom.

But Hun Sen will not accept such a scenario under the present circonstances. Therefore, Hun Sen will do nothing but buy time until the July 23 elections.
