ចម្លែកជាងប្រលោមលោក និពន្ធដោយ កាហ្វកា (Kafka) ទៅទៀត ៖ តុលាការក្រុងភ្នំពេញ បានកោះហៅ សារជាថ្មីម្តងទៀត ថ្នាក់ដឹកនាំគណបក្សសង្គ្រោះជាតិ  ឲ្យមកបង្ហាញខ្លួននៅចំពោះមុខតុលាការ។ លើកនេះ ឲ្យមកដល់នៅថ្ងៃ ១១ វិច្ឆិកា ២០២០ នេះ ក៏ប៉ុន្តែ ជនជាប់ចោទទាំងនោះ ជាក់ស្តែង មិនអាចចូលខ្លួនបានទេ  ពីព្រោះក្រុមហ៊ុនអាកាសចរណ៍នានា ត្រូវបានហាមឃាត់មិនឲ្យដឹកពួកគេមួយចំនួនចូលកម្ពុជា ហើយពួកគេមួយចំនួនទៀត ត្រូវបានដកហូតលិខិតឆ្លងដែន។ ទោះជាយ៉ាងណាក៏ដោយ របបលោក ហ៊ុន សែន បែរជាឆ្លើយថា ការមិនអាចធ្វើដំណើរ របស់ជនជាប់ចោទទាំងនោះ មិនមែនជាភារកិច្ចរបស់ខ្លួនទេ។

ស្ថានការណ៍វក់វី គ្មានទំនងបែបនេះ (absurd situation) ឆ្លុះបញ្ចាំងការភ័យខ្លាច នៃរបបសព្វថ្ងៃ ចំពោះវត្តមានថ្នាក់ដឹកនាំគណបក្សសង្គ្រោះជាតិ ដែលអាចប្រមូលកម្លាំងប្រជាពលរដ្ឋ ក្នុងទ្រង់ទ្រាយធំ ដូចក្នុងចន្លោះឆ្នាំ ២០១៣ (បោះឆ្នោតថ្នាក់ជាតិ) ដល់ ២០១៧ (បោះឆ្នោតថ្នាក់ឃុំ-សង្កាត់)។ លោក Brad Adams ពីអង្គការឃ្លាំមើលសិទ្ធិមនុស្ស (Human Rights Watch) បានកត់សម្គាល់យ៉ាងត្រឹមត្រូវ ៖ "ក្រោយពីបានរំលាយគណបក្សប្រឆាំង ហើយរៀបចំការកាត់ទោស សម រង្ស៊ី តាមរបៀបលេងសើចរួចមក ជនផ្តាច់ការ ហ៊ុន សែន ពេលនេះ បដិសេធមិនឲ្យ សម រង្ស៊ី និងសហការី ធ្វើមាតុភូមិនិវត្តន៍ ឡើយ។ ជនផ្តាច់ការនេះ ព្រួយបារម្ភខ្លាចមានចលនា "អំណាចប្រជាពលរដ្ឋ" (People Power) ផ្ទុះឡើង ពីព្រោះប្រជាពលរដ្ឋ ធុញទ្រាន់របប ហ៊ុន សែន ណាស់ ហើយចង់ឲ្យ ហ៊ុន សែន ចុះចេញពីតំណែង។"

Stranger than Kafka: The Phnom Penh Municipal Court has again ordered CNRP leaders to appear, this time on November 11, knowing they physically can’t get there. No air company is authorised to carry them and some have had their passports revoked. The government, which tightly controls the Court, claims that these physical obstacles are not their problem. They seem to have forgotten that Hun Sen himself asked neighbouring countries not to let Cambodian opposition figures cross their territory.  

This absurd situation reflects the current regime’s fear of seeing CNRP leaders mobilise the population on an unprecedented scale, exceeding even that seen from 2013 (national election) to 2017 (local election). As Brad Adams of Human Rights Watch has accurately observed: "After banning the opposition and staging sham trials to convict Sam Rainsy, now Cambodian dictator Hun Sen is refusing to let him and others return. Apparently the strongman fears a People's Power movement that is fed up and could sweep him from office."
